JORDAHL® anchor channels are combined with the matching JORDAHL® bolts to deliver a versatile and proven fastening system. They absorb both tensile loads and transverse pull loads at right angles to the axis of the channel. By combining them with other components from the JORDAHL® range of accessories, virtually any static or dynamic fastening technology problem can be solved simply and effectively.
Advantages
- Static load-bearing capacities of up to 40 kN service load (55.6 kN design resistance)
- Approved fatigue endurance limit up to 2 x 106 load changes
- Anchoring does not damage the concrete or reinforcement
- Excellent fit in heavily reinforced concrete or filigree components ≥ 10 cm
- Suitable for pre-stressed components
- Suitable without reservations for cracked and uncracked concrete
- Fatigue resistant up to the service load limit
- Verified against explosion and shock limit loads
- Solid channel lip for greater preload through high tightening torques
- For installation in components (ceilings/floors) with fire protection requirements
- Fast and efficient fastening on-site
- Assembly with simple tools (hammer and wrench)
- Easy to adapt
- Five load classes
- Increased load-bearing capacity close to reinforcement
JORDAHL® anchor channels JTA W have been granted the European Technical Approval with approval number ETA-09/0338 and the general building approval (approval number: Z-21.4-151).
Similar forces in the longitudinal direction of the channels can be absorbed with JORDAHL® Toothed Anchor Channels JXA W, which have also been approved by the building authorities.
Overview of cross-sections
The JORDAHL® anchor channels JTA W are available in five different cross-section types. They are supplied in any required length. The standard stock lengths measure 6 m. Special profiles can be manufactured on request.
Material
JORDAHL® anchor channels JTA W are made of steel or non-rusting steel. They are hot-rolled from the full steel block (W-profiles) and are available in the versions ‘hot-dip galvanised' and ‘stainless steel A4'. The corresponding JORDAHL® bolts are made of steel (strength class 4.6 or 8.8) or stainless steel (strength classes -50 and -70).
