Manonry Connections

JORDAHL® Masonry Connections are combined with the matching JORDAHL® anchor channels to ensure durable and reliable connections between masonry and adjacent components.

  • JMA
  • Transverse anchors JMA-Q, T-shaped
  • Transverse anchors JMA-QE, L-shaped
  • Thin-bed wall junction anchors JMA-D
  • Connecting straps, smooth or serrated

Connecting straps JVB

The JORDAHL® connecting straps JVB-Z and JVB-ZS are used to make a connection between two components:

  • Type JVB-Z for connections which are only subject to tensile loads
  • Serrated straps of type JVB-ZS with welded-on JORDAHL® bolt for transmission of tensile and compressive forces

The positioning between a vertical and a horizontal JORDAHL® anchor channel (minimum length 150 mm) means that the exact alignment of the fixture in all three dimensions is ensured. Care must be taken during installation to ensure that the straps lie flat against the anchor channel and the component.

Material

JORDAHL® connecting straps are supplied in the following choice of materials: steel (zinc-plated) or stainless steel (1.4571/1.4404 (A4) ).

Clamp Connections JSV

Clamp Connections JSV

JORDAHL® clamp connections provide a connection between two components which is free of play and guarantees tensile strength and compression strength. The positioning between a vertical and a horizontal JORDAHL® anchor channel (minimum length 150 mm) means that the exact alignment of the fixture in all three dimensions is ensured.

Material

JORDAHL® clamp connections are supplied in stainless steel (A4).

Sliding Nuts JGM

JORDAHL® sliding nuts JGM can be used at any point along the JORDAHL® channel. By rotating the sliding nut through 90° after inserting it or tipping it into place, the threaded bore can be positioned in the centre. Sliding nuts are used preferably for fixed-distance installations with long bolts or threaded rods. Due to the concealed assembly method they are not generally approved by the building authorities.

Hooked-head sliding nuts

Hooked-head sliding nuts JGM A, JGM B, JGM C

These nuts are forged and have a precise shape which ensures that they do not rotate back.

Hammerhead sliding nuts

Hammerhead sliding nuts JGM H, JGM D, JGM G

Hammerhead sliding nuts can be used for temporary fixing of components of lesser importance. They simply perform a clamping action, without forming a positive connection like the hooked-head sliding nuts.

Clamping plates KP

JORDAHL® hot-dip galvanised clamping plates are suitable for attaching T-shaped profiles and crane rails.

Eye Sockets

Eye Sockets

JORDAHL® eye sockets are used to transmit tensile forces into concrete components such as the forces which occur for example during the transportation of prefabricated components. The eye sockets are concreted into the reinforced concrete components. A reinforcing bar is necessary as suspension reinforcement for the transmission of the forces. To do this, a bar with the largest possible diameter is guided through the transverse hole and bent down as shown in the drawing.

JKW

JORDAHL® edge protection angles are supplied with anchors ready to install.
The round steel anchors bent in a U shape may easily be fitted into the
reinforcing cage and do not conflict with the corner reinforcement.
JORDAHL® edge protection angles are bent over at an angle of 92°. This ensures
good contact with the formwork and a clean edge to the concrete.

JORDAHL® edge protection angle for casting into the corners of columns and walls
in car parks and warehouse load ing bays.
