Studrails are used to transmit high shear forces in flat floor applications with low requirements in terms of formwork and reinforcement as well as in order to optimise space usage. The punching shear resistance can thus be increased by 90% in comparison to floor slabs without studrails.
Double-headed anchors achieved the best results in tests. The higher load absorption capacity with almost slip-free transmission of forces makes it possible to optimise the floor height. Use is approved from a floor height of 18 cm. The time-saving installation from above can be performed after installation of the entire bending reinforcement.
JORDAHL® studrails JDA are generally approved for static and dynamic loads: approval no. Z-15.1-214 according to DIN 1045-1: 2001-07.
